Description
You'll excuse me being in a particularly silly mood recently, but I felt like this would just be a fun one to submit. I was making a tye-dye t-shirt and when I went to rinse it out in the bathtub, all these wicked crazy colors started flowing from the shirt into the drain, and I had to take a photo of it. I think it may end up being more supportive data towards the theory that I might have ADD. Pretty colors...Anyway, yeah it's not really of any sort of artistical merit, IMO, but I see a few different ideas in it. Whatever. Enjoy the splash.

wow - i used to tie-dye! Such a cool devo. and i disagree - tis artistic merit. I completely love how the colours are in seperate trails... mine never rinsed out that neat!
ADD? what?

Hehe thanks. ADD is Attention Deficit Disorder- basically, I have a short attention span due to certain biological factors. That short attention span is also shortened even more because I'm easy to distract with shiny and/or brightly colored objects. I've never actually been evaluated for it, but I wouldn't be surprised if I had it.

hey, this does have artistic merit! lots of it. I like it a lot, particularly how sharp it is against the perfect white (manipulated? or just very clean?) background. I feel sorry for the fish in the rivers though.

Hehe thanks. My bathtub is indeed very clean, but I upped the contrast a bit to get it this white. Had it actually been this way without the manipulation, I would have had to take this photo with a really strong lamp/light source above.
Aww, don't worry about the fish. I live in Washington, remember? Greenest state of them all. We have great sewage systems and processing plants. Otherwise I'd never dream of doing this.

wow! this is gorgeous. nice work! its such a great idea, and obviously the fact that it was spontaneous makes it all better! yay for tie-dye, you little hippy you.
i love how the colours flow together and yet there's still lines between the seperate colours when you full view. cool stuff! it's awesome.

You can almost see a perfect rainbow in that and I think thats really unique how it flowed together just like that. It's an interesting idea, Ive actually been wanting to play with colors and water and I think when I get a day off that I will.
I like it. :]

It was great fun. You should do what I did! Not only do you get some cool color photos, but you get a cool tye-dye t-shirt into the bargain.
Thanks.

Hm. Well you could always improvise with glasses instead of bowls. Or perhaps with an interesting location instead. Got a white board or something? That might work.
