Simon Ecrus, an OC. Quick pen doodle manipulated in photoshop. Ecrus is from my webcomic HMS Crock Doctor: [link]

Leaving for the Big Island tomorrow. Here's a villain to keep you company.^
And here's another:

They can...I don't know. Talk about how alone they are, or something.

Welcome back!! How was your trip?
Oh gosh, you should have heard these two bickering.... Ecrus was saying something about being better, because he was a drawing, and Salieri flipped out, claiming that life was better in live action...and...geez. I tried to stop them, but they wouldn't listen to me. True story.

...And I kind of want to draw them together. Uh...would you mind me drawing your OC, if I actually try it...?

Oh, go ahead! Do, please!

My trip was pretty chill. I live on Oahu, which is the city life of Hawaii, and the Big Island is more like escaping to the country for a little while. Lots of nature, lots of koki frogs that chirp all night long and kind of lull you to sleep. It's nice.

Thank you! I shall do my best! <8D

Oh, that is good, that is good~ It sounds so nice there....D8 I've wanted to go to Hawaii for a long time. My parents went there for their honeymoon, and they have a ton of pictures of Hawaii, so I'm like, "Jason Crisp, I'm jealous," whenever I look at the photo album. -w-;

It's really great for visiting. A different story with living here. The whole laid back attitude doesn't suit so well if you're actually trying to get something done.

Oh dear...you have a point there.... Still wonderful that you had a good time, though!

Oh, by the way...does Ecrus have any favorite colors, or wear certain colors, or anything, in case I color in my little doodle of him...? I just want to make sure I have him right. ^^

There are two versions of Ecrus, Simon Ecrus Dwale before the madness, and then Ecrus afterwards. The good one is um...I guess you could equate him to a graduate student and a poet. He's very good at his work, well-respected, a little vain, and closed off to himself, but willing to help if someone needs assistance with a project or writing. I associate him with a cyan color, whereas after the madness he is black. If you were to draw the good one, a lot of times he wears a white collared shirt and a vest. The time period my characters are in is like a warped 1970s, so bell-bottom pants are not out of the question (if you're doing full-body, which you certainly don't have to) but also a bit of good old cowboy wear from the late 1800s/early 1900s America.

A good reference for Simon is this, as he often wears outfits like this: [link]

I don't have any good references for the extent of Ecrus's madness, but this will suffice: [link]
The evil one doesn't ever expose anything but the neck up. He even wears black gloves. He has a long, heavy black coat and no ruddiness to his cheeks whatsoever. (The nose of Simon Ecrus is more like in "The Writer at work" than "The Villain," because I was experimenting a bit before I reached something I liked.)

Don't get too elaborate with this unless you really want to. I'm just excited someone's drawing something of mine. :3
