Never exactly heard such a laugh before, but yes, it is a bit interesting of something I never heard yet.

It's not a silly question at all 
furries are someone who like anthropormorphic characters such as bugs bunny and daffy duck. Anthropomorphic's are animals who have human like traits...so we are talking about an animal who can walk upright and talk and such. Furries have their own characters they make and they act out as their character through roleplaying and drawing their character. They call these characters their 'Fursona's'
the ponies are actually considered anthropomorphic... but there are differences in the Furry and the Brony fandom. However, there are also alot of similarities. Bronies also have their own pony character they act out as online. Like the furries "fursona", the bronies call their characters "ponysona's".
