Well, I don't have any 3D programs on my comp and most of the renders don't fit in their original image - they are always cut off at the border.

You dont always get the full render - they extend past the border if uncropped

I like it very much, but the scanlines are a lil dark.

Yeah, I noticed that. Funny too, as they are set to 16% opacity.
