Ive been there! It's soooo beautiful! Ive been in the castle and everything. When I went they were remodeling some of the castle. It's very lovely, did you take the picture from the bridge that hung over the waterfall?

Ahh, one of my favourite castles that I've had the pleasure of viewing personally... too bad only 1/3 of it was ever completed, cuz it would have been stunning to see it all in its glory. The room that is my personal favourite would have to be the throne room, with the hand-laid mosaic on the floor consisting of what? hundreds of thousands of tiles?? Astonishing and awe-inspiring to be sure.

Very Stuning shot. If I remember correctly you must've taken this shot from the bridge. I got a really good shot of it from one of the upper windows when I was in the castle. I really envy the fact that you have such great landscapes over there. It really shows in your pictures they definitely bring your country alive.

i've been there.. the room that's made like a cave is really cool! and the King that lived there was mad wasn't he?? i like your photo.. you were lucky it was on a foggy day, cauze that's what makes the castle come out fairytale like but still spooky!! nice one!

I live a few kilometers away from this castle in Munich.
Visited half a year ago with an elderhostel group (old people from usa and canada) but I must say the castle is nice, really, but visiting it isn't worth time and money! You'll get a 20 minute tour with a bad commentation (also with french accent) and the best thing is the view to the outside from the inside of the castle...
So, visit something cooler like Munich, Berlin or the 'Ruhrgebiet' when you come to Germany!!
