I love much more landscape around this castle... so blue crystal lakes and mountains... wonderful....

There is such a feeling of mystery and fantasy in this shot that I just don't know where to begin. First off, the architecture of the castle is great and the amount of detail captured in the image, even with the fog, is amazing. I love the dark sky and how that really contrasts with the land below, which is lighter and obscured by an almost mystical fog that seems like it could be nothing short of sorcery. Excellent work. Very emotive.

it looks like from a dream. the castle fades away into the fog...
i like it.
but there is one thing that i donΒ΄t like so much: the area left of the castle where you/I can see these houses. this disturbs the illusion a little bit.

I've been to the castle Neuschwanstein, but I've never been to the myserious fairy castle you photographed. There may exist many photos of the castle, but this is definitely the best one - even if I don't know them all

ohhh I was there, in February of 2002... It was snowing, the whole landscape was clattered in white and a cold, amazing air was all around.
I climbed the hill even if it was already too late to see the castle from within. I just had to.
It was too much of a thing not to.
It really is very beautiful.
And this shot you made makes it look unreal, magical...
