Well then let me try to explain. The Dark Lord gave the girls a bottle of champagne as a gift to celebrate his success. Unfortunately for them, the drink was drugged and they drank it just after toasting to the Dark Lord's health and success, and their starting to pass out from it. The problem for our heroines is that it was done intentionally by either the Dark Lord or some other villain who managed to intercept and spike the drink for some nefarious purpose.

It was all part of his dastardly evil plan! Yes he chose to use those glasses specifically so he could spike the drink and girls would never see it coming because who in their right minds would suspect that champagne served with whiskey glasses gifted by an evil mastermind could possibly be drugged? That's interesting! as for me, it reminds me of Sabrina the teenage witch.
However, I named my character after a good friend of mine, who helped me a lot when I first started.
Yes that was one of the factors that inspired it. There were other badass female characters who I liked as well. For her I decided to make her of a sexy, skilled, badass heroine type that while not necessarily being as physically powerful as some of my other characters, she compensates by relying on skills, stealth, seduction, and other tricks to get the job done. Kind of like an assassin or a ninja.
