No ssj3 needed, a nuclear bomb doesnt have shit on a galaxy buster, which is what broly did in his weakest transformation, the mind controlled ssj, in lssj he would do far more damage, once hulk made him mad enough and it wasn't fun anymore, he would blow up everything

Interesting question... especially as unlike normal super saiyans, or othwr western heroes, neither one has a finite element in their power. They both literally continually power up as the fight progresses.
I'd say Broly has the initial advantage, what with the initial SSJ transformation producing a massive power boost early on, but the hulk, likewise, can increase his power at a frightening rate.
After they'd both wiped out their respective collections of rival first this would be and interesting and certainly apocalyptic battle... and it'd probably break the world they were on at the time (but since both Hulk and Broly can survive in space for extensive periods of time I'd say that wouldn't even slow them down)

Part of the point of LSSJ is that there is no upper limit (provided he has the time for his constantly rising ki to reach extreme levels), unlike all the other transformations, which do have defined upper limits. SSJ3 could not stand against the world war hulk incarnation, therefore it's down to broly provided he's spent weeks in LSSJ state.
This is why it'd be an interesting fight. Because they'd both be constantly powering up as they attacked.

Yeah, he has done that in the past. But also the Hulk survived a nuclear explosion too when they tried to kill him in the latest comic series of Hulk vs Wolverine. But I guess since he doesn't have the ability to survive in space like a Saiyan can. If the destruction of the galaxy won't kill him, the crippling effects of being exposed to space will.
