Oh, he's not exactly psychotic (there are other reasons for his stay in the psychiatry), to some degrees he is still aware it's a plush monkey. The little fellow only has such a very special and huge meaning to Chuz and him, they... well, occational forget about that fact XD Or simply don't care *lol*

Well, I don't think he was aware in any way, that Chaz considers his candle spleen cute XD But he also knew that candles alone won't make Chaz relaxed enough (yesss! he still believed and believes that this is the main problem!) for some sexy times XDD ... Hey, he really really tried to talk with Chaz about that D: It's pretty much the same thing like Chaz thinking Mike would have a problem with his sexual orientation, simply because that's the most logical interpretation of the "ugly" topic for him 
... I just have to think of Mike, having one of his "I accuse you and everyone around you of random things" moments, bitching about DBS being all gay and Ryan most likely lusting after Chaz and whatnot XDDDDDDDDDDDDDD
