finally my really favourite character from claymore, Galatea
i was eager to draw her for so long now finally, although, even these 3 drawings of her are not enough

i recently found out about Paint SAI and i must say it is perfect program for making linearts
photoshop (drawing) + paint sai(some lines (like hair)), no textures (cloth texture is all brush so its drawed), manga used as reference, i added some minor details but didnt change much, also didnt add facial details where it was not originally - i didnt want to get this out of hand, i spent enough time on it - about 10 hours
also - the eyes are full detail... she is blind...
also i dont trace! its pure me, just imitating..

i like the result, it could be much better though, more of a learning again so no point going for details, i studied the way it is originally drawed and tried to recreate it in my own way, check out some brushes and so

Galatea is well, awesome (it is claymore so it must be ), very strong and formidable, high in rank, one of those few intelligent ones, has sence of humour, is incredibly beautiful and to top it all off she deserted the organization and gave up on being a warrior - it may seem contradicting- saying it is good, but now she is something else something more than just regular claymore (and yes i hope she was secretely training her yoki perception/manipulation so she will kick some serious ass in the future)
also the hair is amazing + she gives us incredible poses on every possible occasion
