Those of you who were home-schooled may recognize Eddie. For those who don't, young people help him through various mazes, thus the cheese he loves.

Going by the description, this reminds me of one of those characters in those PC-Educational games we had in my school. One in-particular I remember is a Frogger-like character, and his game involved you "eating" the correct answer on a six-by-six (or more) grid, while also avoiding enemies and the wrong answers. I can't remember for the life of me what the game is called, but I can recall if you do well enough, your frog character can turn super (which involves him looking exactly the same... but with a cape instead!). Believe it or not, I actually got the high score at that game... of course, anyone could, provided you had enough time on your hands and you remember the answers to everything (there weren't that many challenges, so they'd just repeat after a while).
Anyhoo, Eddie looks like an interesting character. Very nicely done on the pic, too (the coloring especially came out extra fine)!
