Believe it or not, I haven't actually seen anything Underdog-related since my youth... which was like some umpteen-hundred years ago, surely. Β My folks have the live-action movie on DVD... but considering all I've heard about it, I don't think it's something I really want to watch.Β

Whoever made the Underdog cartoons, were they the same guys that made Danger Mouse? Β It's seems like something similar that'd come out of the same company... but it's been forever since I've seen either, so maybe my memory's failing me. Β I really need to get around to checking both out again one day.

The production companies behind each are split by the Atlantic, and approximately twenty-five years.Β  Jay Ward was behind Underdog, which predates the very British Danger Mouse, produced by Cosgrove Hall.Β  This was the same studio behind "Count Duckula", however--you might have noticed the similarity in the animation there.Β  That is, if you had Nickelodeon at the right time.

Oh, note that if you Google "Danger Mouse", you should scroll past the references to the musician from Gnarls Barkley, since he likely comes up first.
