The dress was eight pounds of satin with and additional three pounds inside the sleeves of the printed jacquard (the darker purple on the edges of the sleeves.) That lace is venitian style bridal lace and it too 15 hours to hand stitch to the gown. It circles both sleeves and the skirt and train. The pendant is simply gold sculpy and a blue resin jewel. Magus however is still incomplete. He had a fiberglass breast plate but none of the additional accessories because we were pressed a bit for time. I also need to get him elf ears and make him a proper widow's peak wig. Both wigs are from Arda and I highly recommend their products.

The crowning jewel of this piece however has to be the cape. It folds completely closed and when left open flares exactly the way the sprite's does when he runs / flies.  The fog drape is adorned by heavy drapery edging and wights a ton, but it gets the job done.

These costumes took a Judge's Award at San Japan: Sinister 6 in Texas.

Woah, that's quite a lot of work! It's nice to know you got an award for it! I really like that you added some details while keeping it true to the original art, too (I think if you had stuck closer and didn't add anything, it'd be a bit-pajama like).
You're right about the cape... I don't know much about clothes and didn't think all that much about it (and the fact that it takes quite a bit of attention to detail to make it look thta well), but it's pretty perfect now I look at it.
