such beautiful minimalism and solemnity. I really like the gentle sense of light, despite the darkness of the overall picture.. can't help but feel, like glunac, that there's something else being depicted here than what first meets the eye

I thought the white building was a Jesus figure at 1st. As I scrolled down I could see it was the top of a white building cast in both light & shadow, but my 1st impression was of something Spiritual. Looking at it closer it looks more like a white wizard, but my 1st impression was Jesus,like the statue on the Brazilian mountain top but with his arms down. Either way you caught something that is not easily explained in this piece.
Love the time of the morning or night this takes place, when everything is half hidden in shadows but the sky is light enough to see by.
