Description
This was done for the lovely and talented .If you're even mildly into the cosplay scene you must know who she is and the scope of her abilities to not just produce some of the grooviest and amazing outfits but her modelling prowess when it comes to showing them off at shows and photoshoots.
So if you've never heard of her before consider youself now educated and go follow her work here on DA, on Facebook via her fanpage:
Riddle's Messy Wardrobe
and I'm pretty sure she's on Twitter too. My thanks go out to Riki for being an inspiration and sharing her great work.

That's so fresh and clean, Dan. Your art is what makes me lose interest in Photoshop, however fleeting the feeling is. It makes me want to make beautiful work with my own hands, without relying on undo... though there's value in the digital approach too... anyway! Nice work. Real nice.

Thanks, man. I think you just realized what can challenge you about digital art. Don't rely on the Undo function.
Creating art digitally versus traditionally is one of those silly discussions that won't be resolved unless the lights go out forever or we stop being able to create pencils and paper and ink. Until then as long as you don't use it as a crutch for every single aspect of your art then a digital medium is just another tool to make you a better, more well-rounded artist. Don't listen to the old fart ramblings like I tend to spout but instead understand the tool you're using. I've seen digital art that looks traditional and traditional art that looks digital but in the end it's all art.
Just know your tools. Be proficient with them individually and as a whole and always remember: Don't over-specialize because you'll breed in weakness. You know what you need to do.

Me, overspecialize? The guy who can't even stick to a medium long enough to learn how to do it properly, let alone specialize in it?

Mmm, well I stay off facebook, so I'll take your word on it that her cosplays are just that good.

Thanks! It's totally based off of her Wasp cosplay so those boots are all hers.

Nice work, man! Once again, your tiny girl/large prop motif works great for you. I like the vibrant colour on Iron Man's glove and you did a great job with giving Wasp's outfit a nice sheen. There's something very sharp about the colouring in this one that makes it really pop. Excellent work! Very well done!

Thanks Lew! I glad you liked what I did with this piece, color-wise. I was trying out different ways of getting effects as far as texture goes.
