I also didn't like how Firestar became a boring cat when they entered the second series. Just because there are new main characters, doesn't mean the old one whoop diddly switches personalities. I mean, yes, he has bigger responsibilities once her becomes leader, but that honestly shouldn't change one's personality.

Graystripe was getting old. But yes, ThunderClan would have been WAAAYYY better off as him staying deputy. I really do despise Brambleclaw for everything. He went to dark forest and trained with Tigerstar, at one point. In the beginning of his story. He is the son of fricking Tigerstar. He knows the stories of how Tigerstar went to dark forest, and suddenly in his dreams, "ooh, dad! its really dark and scary here and you're a mass murderer but i want to learn your ways"
Come ON. Seriously.
Then when he was picked for the journey, for fuck knows why, squirrelflight forced everyone to let her to tag along. Then brambleclaw loves her. And it's like come on man.
She even LIED to him right to his face and then claimed it was to protect him, then put another FIVE LIVES at stake because of Ashfur. Ashfur himself, her, the three kits. And she is way to hotheaded.
Overall...I liked the first series the best, because it was balanced on one character, not ever really switching the points of view, which made it a thing that you had to get used to and remember, because all three of the cats were doing different things at different times. The main villain had somewhat creative plans that kids wouldn't expect. And in the end he died, Firestar became the new leader, it was pretty good.
But there were also the deaths. The first series was just really the best one, on my opinion. There wasn't really any love drama besides Graystripe and Silverstream, but I liked it. In the other series it was plain annoying.
I'm still mad at Graystripe for mating to Millie, because she's a total d-bag.

I hated Cinderheart.
Once she found out she was Cinderpelt in another life, she blew her shit and went right back to fucking being the medicine cat, when that's all Cinderpelt didn't want. Because Cinderpelt was a cripple. She wanted to be a warrior. Then fucking Cinderheart decided to act all fucking depressed about herself.
It did make Spottedleaf way more mature. I can't imagine how much it hurt though. I personally think she was only saying it because it made Firestar feel better.
I also think Firestar will always love Spottedleaf more than Sandstorm.
