Second, I have no idea why you don't like the first
third, mybe the tierdness is affecting my vision and i will check this out latter, but from what i see, it's all a go (except for the legs, but you already know that

Oh, and about her legs... her calves are not too short... what;'s throwing you off is her legs as a whole are too short in comparisons to her arms. If her arms were hanging at her side, her fingers wuld come easely to her mid thigh when they should actualy only fall to about crotch level or a touch lower.
