Description
Starcomet walked through the marshy terrain cautiously. The wizard was a bit of a clean freak and did not enjoy the icky environment around him. He tread carefully in search of the monstrous creature that lived in this bog, wearing his tight jeans and blue hoody jacket.

Many poor travelers have entered the bog as a short cut, but have never been seen. Legend say a creature lives here that is apart of the bog and takes care of all intruders. Star ventured into this bog to see if these rumors were true and to destroy said creature if it was real.

He notice that it began to get darker as the willow's and creepy trees blocked out light. He summoned an orb of light to provide illumination as he walked along the soft muddy ground. As he walked, his blue and white high top converse sneakers made squelching and plopping sounds as it landed on the wet muddy ground

He had to admit that he did sense a presence in the bog, but he was not sure exactly what it was. He had encountered many creatures before, but this presence seemed different. He soon came to a very large pond of what looked like slimy muddy water. "Quicksand?" He said outloud as he looked over the beige colored liquid. The large pond laid motionless and not even a ripple or small wave could be seen.

The strong musky air of pond filled Star's nostrils and he coughed a bit. He looked around and noticed the path continued on the other side pond and the surrounding perimeter of the pond had thick foliage and thorny bushes. It appeared going around was not possible. "I wonder if this is where all of those poor souls ended up? Drowned in this quickmud pit?" He asked outloud. Not wanting to take any chances, and hating the mud, he cast a simple levitation spell on himself and he levitated about 6 inches off the ground below. He began to over over the pond as the glowing orb floated behind and continued to emit its white light.

He floated half way over the pond and was at the center and was surprised how still and calm the entire vicinity was around this pond...as if no animal ever comes here. Suddenly, he let out a yelp as he was stopped in midair. He felt a wet and sticky thing grab on to his right foot. He looked down and behind him and saw a large muddy glob or hand like appendage wrapped around his foot and holding him tight.

"What on earth?!" He shouted out as he began to struggle to pull his leg free from the muddy grip, but noticed it was quite strong and held on tight. Soon the muddy hand expanded and crept further up his calf. Star grunted as he struggled mighty and raised his right hand as he was about to cast a spell. Just as he was about to do so, a long dough and sticky arm shot out of the pond grabbed his right hand. He let out a yelp and struggled in midair against these muddy appendages. "What is this?? Get off!" he shouted as it echoed throughout the bog. Soon several other other muddy limbs grabbed his other left foot and his other hand.

He felt the hands pulling him into the muddy pond and he grunted loudly as he struggling with all of his strength as his hood came off revealing his face completely. The dim light still hovered above and provided light for Star to see the muddy arms and noticed they had a firm, but malleable consistency. These were arms, but they were made 100% from mud. "These are not hands from a humanoid being...is this a mud creature?" He asked as his body was pulled half way into the muddy pool as he continued to struggle and managed to get his hands above the muddy pond, but they were pulled back in by the sticky hands.

Soon Star was almost fully submerged with out his shoulders and head still above in the pond. The black wizard was helpless and could not cast a spell to save himself. He continued to grit his teeth and struggle, "Must...get my hands free...ugh...so sticky and thick, I can hardly move." Suddenly he felt his entire body rising, but he was still being held. The entire muddy pond was mostly motionless, despite his struggles, but now it came a live with vigorous motions and ripples.

Star's body rose out of the quick mud as a large mound of slimy and sticky mud held on to him. The muddy mass around him began to shift and shape itself into a humanoid form. The large 10 ft tall 3 ft thick muddy being had no noticeable features besides small black eyes that formed on the muddy head, everything else, his large hands, thick legs which were in the muddy pond below was beige color mud. The creature looked down at Star struggling within its chest, who manged to push his right arm free and push his left leg out. Star struggle and tried to cast a spell, but more muddy hands appeared and hug Star closer to the creature's chest. One arm grabbed his left foot and as he struggled to pull it free, but was soon pulled back into the muddy chest of the creature. Star grunted and struggled against the arms as it forced his arms in and stretched them out inside of the muddy chest and semi crucified him as it pulled him.

The wizard's shoulder and head were now the only thing sticking out of the bog lurker's wide muddy chest and he continued to struggle." So you are the monster huh?! A weird mud golem?!" He shouted out he struggled within the muddy chest, but was not going anyway.
