Ehhhhhhhhhh.....It's good, but there's a lot of what I would consider "filler" and it goes a little off the rails right before the ending, so it's not super bingable.  If you want to watch it, it goes Code Geass R1, then Code Geass R2, and everything else is extra to watch at the end.  Funimation has R1 and R2 listed as Seasons 1 and 2 on their website, which makes it a bit easier
However, there are also recap films that are slightly different from the series, and the new movie is set in that time line!  So, if you'd like a faster way to experience the plot, the movies go: 
Lelouch of the Rebellion I - Initiation
Lelouch of the Rebellion II - Transgression
Lelouch of the Rebellion III - Glorification
Lelouch of the Re;surrection

far too complicated for a simple man like myself with far too many other series on the go already lol but thank you for explaining it to me, it's much appreciated
