Sorry for the long pause, I will be returning... And I will do those features... First up
And, as you can obviously see... I did not use a tripod.

Awesome! I always wondered how people actually get shots of lightning. I suppose I need a camera without a delay for one...

This one is great!
Have you tried a tighter crop? In my mind this photo looks way better with a vertical crop... do you mind if I crop it for you to check it out?

Awesome capture I've always wanted to get some lightening on film, but have yet to figure out how to get a shot in that short amount of time!

Hahaha, wait for the really HUGE storms and then try to get the ones that last longer. Not that I am an expert, but that is what I did...

Lightning!!
Fun stuff. And then you have that aura coming out of the cloud, too, that isn't quite the lightning bolt. It's majestic and surreal even, because it looks tame while it is part of the lightning.
And then again, it's probably just rain reflecting the light.

Haha, what is funny is I didn't even get the best shot of the lightning! It was so BIG! O_O
Thanks very much though! It is nice to hear from you again!

Like god letting loose his wrath upon a city of blasphemers.
I really like the contrast of a regular cityscape shot with the churning sky, and the connection between the two via a violent discharge. Makes one feel so small compared to what's out there.
