OH. MY. GLOB. THIS WAS SO FRUSTRATING, YET SO SATISYING.I literally had to restart it because the darn lineart wasn't behaving!! Yep, the lines were definitely the hardest part (ESPECIALLY SPIRIT'S LEGS.) After that, stuff was easier, though. I was planning on having a more complex background, with nightmares and Spirit about to enter a portal. But I like the simplicity of this. I also tried a new thing, having the water basically pouring off their bodies.

I loev love LOVE how you did Spirit! His desperation shows through very well and adds to the feel of the piece, and the lightning is incredible. The detail blows me away, and i ADORE his position!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thank you so much! This scene will either take place during the climax or "magical midpoint" (as I like to call it), so the desperation will be very high. The position was actually a little hard to figure out, because I wanted it to look like he was running hard, yet somehow trying to hold on. And yes, I love doing dramatic lighting.
