Painted onto the wall of a soon to be torn down building. (and since has been)Hope you enjoy.

Lately I've been wandering around the city I just moved to, taking photos of every mural or painting that someone has put up that is bound to be disapearing in a couple of days or weeks...

fucking awesome. i had an idea once to spray paint a black heart on the sidewalk near my house but it wouldn't have looked nearly as cool as this! its brilliant

the effect you did with the lighting is awesome, hows theres a kind of glow around the heart, like its shining, and it fades out around the corners. and as for the heart itself, you did a fantastic job. (it reminds me of the police departement building, some did just that on the front walls...

heh just found this in the thumbshare forum and i think its really beautiful and shows a lot of emotion, especially when u know that the wall and the heart dont exists anymore gives it a very sad and "heartbroken" feeling.
what did u do it with? and how did u painted it on the wall? just splattering it on the wall and let it drip down or all drawn?

I dont remember what kind o paint....
I drew a general heart shape onto the wall (I didnt want it to look to perfect) with a thin tipped sharpy.
Then i started from the top with a moderate amount of paint and once closer to the bottom I lathered it on.
Then waited a bit for it to drip.
Then snap goes the camera and you have my phot

wow, a very graphic emotional piece by whoever did it. My first thought was bleeding heart.. the 'blood' dripping down off the image is almost freaky.

Wow, when you think about that, the torn down wall and the heart, it sort of symbolizes that the breaking of an heart is inevitable, i dont know, im crazy >.<
