This suppose to look like a portrait Gaster owns and he's scratched out his mothers face, right? Without giving too much away, from the snippets we've seen the idea of him hating her is for obvious reasons is growing on me. (And the the idea of him being mad for his brothers sake too, cute in a sad way)Β

The sad SAD part is that upon looking at it again it's obvious they look really close, at least with Dingbats. He's not just touching Wingdings but he's making physical contact with both his wife and son, I don't know why but for some reason it's adorable and with the juxaposition or whatever it is with his mom's face scratched out it's like BOOM! Kudos for making that come across

no problem! I left it kinda ambiguous on purpose but basically it's a portrait that Gaster scratched his mother's face out of a long time ago. it's just meant to hint at their troubled relationship (and tbh it's a way for me to avoid showing her face right now, for story reasons... haha).
