Gaster disappears back to the Void as the terror outside commences.
(note: My OC is the Darklord, God of Darkness and Father of Death. :3 And - nope, he's not an OP character, since he has a lot of weaknesses to exploid xD )

The Void was an empty place. Hollow and without ends to see or a beginning to be felt.
Within it, they would see Gaster, chewing on the Hot Dog he got. Behind him, his body stretched to a
massive Amalgamation of all Gasters from every alternate Universe. Some were still much normal in looks.
Others have completely deformed.The single Gaster waved at you and seemed to smile.

well im kinda open with culture because well i am half dragon half human so my mind is open with the cultural thing and for the ''he is not easily drivin to madness'' wellllllllllllll ..... i kinda have a thing for that kinda stuff he got all mad about how i said that we should just fill the void with 'something' and then the void really wont be a void anymore because it has something in it it whould be 'something' and the he kinda just went heak on my butt so... *I smile nevousely/smirking* hehe it was kinda fun though.

Well, that explains a lot. This Darklord is very sensetive about the Void.
I am still unsure why, though. He even tried murdering all of us at first, when he
discovered us here...
But he changed his mind after we asked him to save our universes.
Gaster looked behind him, gazing upon the massive Gaster Amalgamation and wrote.
I stopped counting. Everytime a new Undertale Multiverse is created, another Gaster falls into this place.
At first we get really...anxious about it and in the end, end up melting together.
The Void has not yet eaten us up, so the Darklord says, because it tries to form a host, so it could escape...
I am not certain that the Void has that much of a self preservation instinct, though...

I can understand. We had a lot of questions, too, but the Darklord is never answering them.
_He sighs before continuing a new page_
He said once that "The Void" was as much part of him as Death. Death is his son, so he said, so we asked if the Void was one of his children, too.
He replied -"No. Not in that way. Not like this."- It confused us.
_He looked around the emptiness and thought, writing them down without realizing._
One thing that bothers me is the fact that we Gasters can reach our Universes somehow, but actually never leave here.
Like ghosts. We were forgotten by most of our friends, families... As never existing at all.
But our influence and creations stayed intact.
The Darklord never explained how that could happen. He only gets really mad about it.

but if i remember correctly is that yeah you guys can reach your worlds but you cant interact because in a difrent timeline you fell into the void wich i guess cannot be fixed by resets and stuff but didnt your frisk/s see you through out there journy and they got hints to like warnings from people who did remember you guys and there was a caller who wanted to speek to G then they said oops wrong number and hang up so you arnt completely forgotten

Frisk reaches only the edge of the Void, as far as we've been calculating.
Which is a mystery for us as well. How can there be an end to the endless nothingness.
We asked the Darklord about that once, too.
His answer...is somehow...unclear... ...
A sudden voice from above spoke to them, as if answering that question once again.
The Void stretches far... The Void is eternal and never ending... Once inside, slowly the struggle of its very being will tear existence asunder...
Yet reaching the edge of the Void is not impossible... ... ...For the Void is caged... A cage within a cage...
Gaster looked up to see the Darklord to his surprise.
Oh! You've calmed down, Darklord?
He sighed and joined the conversation. His gaze was still grim from the anger.
Mortals toying with fabrications they don't understand... Causing everyone harm for the satisfaction of their own curiousity or greed... ...
However... How can I stay mad at the choice I created for them... ...

I really like the top design, with the shadowy ribs and the exposed SOUL. It's similar to the one with the wings, so I'm guessing this might be the void version? If it is, I like the concept. I don't think many have interpreted the white area on the chest as being shirtless. It really fits in with your Gaster, though.

Yeah the top one is probably more like a void version of the winged G I drew, though I hadn't put too much thought into it. I've seen some artists on tumblr draw him this way, with the hole in the chest, and I think it's a really cool design.
being shirtless fits him, eh? I'm not sure what to make of that but I'll take it, hahaha
It's hard to figure out exactly what the deal is with that white area below his head. I'm sure you're already well aware of this but I mean, if you only look at his normal, relaxed sprite it could easily be either a white shirt or the skin of his neck/chest. However, looking at the 2nd "surprised" sprite , that white area seems to break apart or break up into two pieces, and it's just....??? I have no idea what to make of that, honestly.
Yeah, human G is a bit weird, he probably looks too much like most everyone else's versions of him so if I care enough at some point I might tweak it to be more distinctive and maybe do him better justice. But like you said, he'll always be best as his monstery self anyway. C:
I never draw humans anymore, so I was like, how can I make sure I still know how to draw them while still drawing Gaster... et viola

I've seen some people interpret the whole lower half of Gaster as another face upside down. Which, I guess it kinda does look like? Usually, they point to his name being a mash-up of two font names, and a post on the official tumblr about Shyren, being possible proof Gaster is two monsters in one. The Shyren post is a bit too cryptic for me to parse, though it could also be proof that Gaster is brother to the skelebros. (If you haven't seen it, you can see a screencap of the post here: i.imgur.com/upsfElY.jpg ). Unfortunately, with sprites like these, it can be difficult to figure out what exactly is going on or meant to be depicted.

I have indeed seen the upside-down Gaster = a 2nd face idea, and it's definitely plausible. I've read the tumblr post too (though I feel the phrasing is way too ambiguous, or cryptic as you said, for the implication that Gaster is a skelebro to be taken too seriously-- as much as I'd ADORE that being canon-- I still think it's more likely referring to Papyrus, even though that's a pretty quick subject shift).
As far as that being a clue to Gaster's body being made of separate parts, like Shyren's, I could see it, what with him being "shattered" and all. What do you think personally?

I actually first interpreted it as referring to Papyrus as well, though I understand the phrase 'It's rude to talk about someone who's listening' is generally connected to Gaster because it's said in game by a 'Gaster Follower'. The part that I found cryptic was the stuff about Shyren. Mostly, whatever the heck it was that spurred the post in the first place.
Though I can certainly see it, as well, I don't personally much like the theory. Which, with my luck, probably means it's the truest one
