Hmm, I haven't seen any bald versions of human Gaster yet, but that actually sounds kinda interesting. I mean I fully admit I'm blinded by the fact that I find Gaster ridiculously adorable, but when it comes down to it, he's a really creepy looking monster and I often wonder if he'd be just as creepy as a human too.
Then again, I find pretty boys a bit boring so I'm probably biased, haha.

He would probably be handsome but boring and serious as hooman xD that's how ppl usually draw him at least. But personally, I think he would have a mean attitude. Cause reasons xD no but I always think there's always a reason on what happened to him, might of been karma to everything he did, cause I seen what karma does in real life.
But yeah there are some who see him as a sweetie ( my friend is one of them) and is just lemme love you xD

That's true.
I'm totally with you, I'm betting he wasn't a super nice guy. I doubt he was some kind of raging super villain either, but it seems likely that regardless of reasons or intent, he did some underhanded shit, and eventually it bit him in the ass (whether by karma, as you said, or just plain old cockiness/messing in stuff he shouldn't have been).
Sweetie Gaster is cute and a nice idea, but I don't personally see him canonically being that way. I feel like, someone as brilliant and enterprising as he was would probably have an ego to match, and was probably able to brush aside his conscience long enough to do less-than-savory things for the sake of what he viewed as the big picture.
But still, yes! help him, save him, love him ;_;

As much as sweet gaster is cute, it's just not how he would be. probably why his theme is as creepy as it is. Like there are two or 3 comics that I personally think hit gasters personality straight. There is one where he made sans and papyrus but he tries to not show any emotions or show that he cares about them for the name of science, which I kinda like the comic, cause I can see him question himself and his motives. But there's another comic called Seems very interesting, and it's a good comic. He sees sans and papy as his assistants,tho papyrus calls him dad, sans questions his motives and well, I won't spoil it if you want to check it out c:

Up untill fillers like all the overly long animes have..
Including ours, like Steven Universe for example.
Fillers are just hiatus.
Minor prolonged backstories, cliff hangers and some FEELS.
You've been warned.
But srsly once you can identify between main arc and comedy episode it's good.
Just remember to watch the movies too, if you ever decide on it because you have free time and need some motivation on cool guy stfu and fighting scenes etc.

It's pretty hard to make him look ugly, that's for sure. Though I do have to wonder if he's considered attractive by monster standards, or only by us weirdo humans, haha.
As far as my own version of Gaster goes, like in the story I'm working on, he's not in a relationship, no. He's way too busy for that kind of thing and doesn't think about it much; the majority of the attentions and affections he can allot for others are spent on his younger brothers (not that he's a lovey dovey big brother, kinda the opposite in fact-- he can be a bit of a dick-- but he takes the responsibility seriously). Though, his priorities may change as the story goes on, who knows? ;D

Well by rules XD there has to be ONE of the brothers this is considered a bit of a meanie, but really carrying and sweet beneath the hard exteriors (and questionable methods of storytelling XD )

Very nice. I love his incredulity, but he is a pretty boy in the fandom xD so it makes sense that hes anime. The shoulder width reminds me of CLAMPs stuff in the aughts. I love the combed back, rigid hair too.

Haha, that's a good point. It's weird because his sprite is a lumpy dude with a creepy, cracked, lopsided, and honestly slightly deformed-looking face and yet he's portrayed as so dashing and sophisticated in fanart. Like I fully admit that I think he's handsome (for some weird reason) despite the unflattering description I just gave... but it seems so odd to me for him to be considered a pretty boy. I'm sure I'm guilty of having drawn him that way myself though. Ah jeez, and I'm rambling now, whoops. Anyway, I'll probably do a better humanized version of him at some point, one that's less cutesy and way more creepy.
