Description
The re-processing of a photograph taken by my father in 1949, shortly after his arrival in the New World. This is a surviving contact print from a Rolleiflex negative (long lost) scanned and tinted as a fantasy and an homage to the Gothic New York of 63 years ago.It has been sized to make a premium print.

Beautiful. The demonstration that definition and absence of noise are not needed.

It's a 63-year-old contact print. I'd have to say you're right. My thanks.

Lovely old print, what a feeling it must have been, I still remember the shock and excitement of moving from the Czech Republic to Singapore back in the 90s...

I think it was more a feeling of affection. My father truly enjoyed NY.
And I've enjoyed seeing it through his eyes. Thank you!

That is how I always imagined Gotham City . A beautiful picture, looks like a painting.
