Wow, I have fallen behind on uploads and keeping my DA updated... lets hope this'll start a pattern of more regular uploadsΒThese are the first sketches I worked out the more or less current concepts for Alex's mom and dad, Jean and Russel. (and a front pose of Alex I really like). Β The numbers are age, approximate height in meters, and percentiles of heights.
Soon you'll see her brothers too.

The US was going too adopt it in the 80's at one point but didn't, NASA and your military do and that's about it.

*shrugs* It's a lot easier to compare heights and distances if I use CM instead of Feet and Inches... I use a mix of both.

It was meant too be a systematic and practical system rather then some wild system based on Henry the VIII's body parts... his foot was what we call a foot today!
It still has it's uses like atmosphere pressure and altitude.
