A piece I made a while ago, but only recently uploaded. I'm not one for editing or creating things digitally; I prefer a regular paper and pencils.This particular piece of fan art is a depiction of one of my favorite pairings or all time. You can view their relationship as purely platonic one as well, true, and I trued to represent that as much as my more slash-oriented mindset, I guess. I just love the undercurrents of tension in every type of interaction Light and L share! Their identities, who they are, and what they try to be in the eyes of those around them add a delicious sort of pressure on their relationship.
Here's to one of the most intense partnership/rivalry out there!

Ahahaha! Too true! Kira can be...freaky. It's almost like Light has a split personality. There's slightly creepy, sociopathic Light,and then there's creepy as all get-out homicidal Kira with delusions of grandeur. Huh...Most people with split personality have a positive and a negative one. With Light, it seems to be the lesser of two evils!
