No matter how good Nolan's Batman movies are. There's just something about Burton's take on the Dark Knight. Has loads of charm. Ballsy approach on his behalf.Lots of work went on to this one. Used an old Batman book i have for reference.
Painted from scratch in Photoshop, using Wacom Bamboo.

I think Tim Burton does the Batman movies r better than the new ones.

I think they both have there charm and both work for different reasons.
And where as Nolan's efforts are probably better crafted movies, i do slightly prefer the fun of Burton's. I have a real soft spot for Batman Returns, and I'd probably say that was my favourite :]

I agree, I'll admit that Heath Ledger was performance wise but I like Jack Nicholson better as the Joker still because his interpretation was more like the one in the comics with the evil sense of humor and funny gags but still had the will to kill innocent people all at once. Oh, and I think Michael Keaton is the best Batman by far, Bale just sounds like he has throat cancer or something.
