Thanks. It's actually not a shield (though it does look like one, and would probably be cool) it's his chest plate. For the contest, one of the stipulations was to feature the design... but I wanted to illustrate the pose so bad, I forgot that little tidbit and added it as a design element in the bg to hopefully comply with the rules. Either way, this is my new favorit illo!!!
