Cool version of that one  I was looking at it just yesterday thinking I might give that example a go. Still learning Bulber myself. Pretty cool app but also aggravating

Thanks! Yes, aggravating, but like anything powerful and cool, there's a learning curve. But, there are a lot of examples to start from and just play around with. So frustrating but also rewarding, as long as you surrender your desire for something specific, and instead investigate to find something cool. Lots more like prospecting than designing sometimes. You accidentally find a diamond, and then you slowly learn how to polish it and put it in a nice setting. Rock it out!

Exactly, exploring and letting the fractal become what it wants to be...

The color choices are a perfect blend. That blue is beautiful. I would love to see this without depth of field. At least not as much. There is so much more to see. Great work once again Stephen.

Here's the non-DoF version. Man! Love the extra detail. Cheers!

Thanks, Ken! Here's the settings, if you want to dig into it. I agree on the no DOF. The kids these days love the focus effects, but I think you end up obscuring and hiding so many good parts. I'll post a version without DOF later! Thanks again!

Ohh, this is beautiful and it also sort of reminds me of those caterpillars that have spines on them, or look like they do.  Gorgeous fractal!

Thanks so much, Lea! Yes, a caterpillar definitely was what came to mind. Then I went with anemone, even though it really looks more like a sea urchin than an anemone. But I liked the alliteration of "anemone anomaly," so that's what stuck. Thanks for commenting!
