how do you do that with the lines? how i see them so defined in the first few panels and then i dont even see them and then it looks life like! how do you tone the lines down so they are unnoticed as lines? its so amazing

when you paint with traditional media, whatever you put on the canvas shows through/ alters the pictures and gives it a bit of soul, so to get the same idea I sketch lines and cross hatches and blobs in the same way.. then gradually add thin paint and blend them out as the picture evolves. Hope that made sense

I'm impressed. You are a good digital painter. One question, Is it harder if you would apply base color first, shadows then highlights? Is doing highlights first easier?

My style is based on oil painting, building up glazes over a grisaile (monochrome sketch)but either way is good (whatever works for you).

yeah i have been really meaning to work on that....and my idea is a complete rework... by hand and then maybe scan and work digitally .... not sure yet.
