Description
Black and white composition, layout and overall feel before coloring.**Update**
Not sure if I'll ever get around to coloring this so I'm leaving it black and white and moving it out of my scrapbook.

This is such a sad, but mesmorizing, composition. I get why they wouldn't want to go overboard with emotions in the game, but I can certainly see Shepard trying to comfort Liara as best she could after killing Liara's mother.
Liara and Shepard's relationship is beautiful but tragic; especially if they're romantically involved. Even Liara's damsel-in-distress meeting is tainted by the fact that Shepard is after her mother. Then Shepard dies after staying behind on the SR1. Liara gives Shepard's body to Cerberus. But despite all this they still love each other. But once more Shepard stays behind to go into the Citadel beam after Liara is injured; likely to never be together again.

Honestly, I like how you capture the essence of the game and characters. This is what strikes me most about your renditions. It's not just for the eyes, but the heart too.

This is fantastic.. Just discovered it via a link on Tumblr.. Look forward to the coloured version, although there is something about the grayscale that resonates with the emotion of the piece, I really like it. Also, Fem Shep. As we all know she should be. Very, very cool.
