This drawing is amazing, but in itself is the deception. Since Satan is the good guy of the story, while Je(w)sus and his Gawd annihilated so many Gentile races... according to their bible of course. Let me not add about all the blood sacrifices that Je(w)sus' "Father" asks for his followers...
Nah, let me simply quote the bible.

Adding to the above, all the tortures, murders and misery of the Dark Ages CAUSED BY christianity... The Inquisition and such... Isn't that something? A religion painted in blood. Not much different from Islam.

It's simply a book cover I was hired to do. Any belief system when man is added to the equation has an ugly past, history has shown us this. You take one belief system and research it, there are many subtle variations of that belief and they're usually in a state of disagreement, confusion and conflict. Satanism is no different. One side of the fence you have people preaching self awareness and love, on the other side they preach in darkness of lies, hate and violence. Christianity is just a word anymore, there are way too many people claiming this title and yet preaching hate, condemnation and violence so it really isn't fair to chalk them all into one group is it?Β
Anyone I've ever met that follows the teachings of Jesus and truly has a heart for God has always been kind to me. I look at their life and see a lot of goodness permeating from them, to their loved ones, in their homes, jobs and community. They make a positive difference in the lives of many, not these people you always see on the media doing horrible things to others in the name of God.(including the dark ages) These are not Christians. This also isn't to say that non-Christians are horrible people either, I've met a lot of good people with different beliefs. Half of my family are Buddhist. I have quite a few friends that are agnostic as well, the only difference is I'm not condemning them for their belief or beating them over the head with a bible telling them they're going to hell. I keep myself in check and make sure I'm following the teachings of Jesus and respect others and their beliefs.
I've spent time in the word and know the difference between old covenant teachings to the new. It never fails, anyone trying to show the biblical teachings in a negative light will always cherry pick old covenant scriptures. Old covenant scriptures will tell you that people were put to death for breaking the most simple rule, yet the new covenant Jesus rebuked the ones about to stone a woman for adultery. The new covenant, teaches forgiveness, salvation and love. Jesus led by example on how we should be and that he is our salvation. It's why when you see others claiming to be Christian and yet going against what the new covenant shows us, well it's safe to say they're not true Christians.Β
I don't know what has happened in your life to be offended by a painting I've done, or maybe the word offended is incorrect but it has stirred up some emotions you felt necessary to point out to me. I can tell you've experienced a lot of negative things related to Christianity, I'm here to say don't let the bad ones ruin it for the rest, there are a lot of good Christians that will give you the shirt off their backs to help you. Jesus himself was ridiculed byΒ Β the "religious" peopleΒ for spending time with the people they looked down on. He was there to help them and preach the good news. It's no different in this day and age, there are true followers of Christ and there are "religious" types. Between you and I, the religious types annoy me too.
I encourage you to just focus on the fruit that people bear in their lives, regardless of the titles they wear. I've known people that know the bible from cover to cover and yet are the most horrendous people you'll meet. I've met people that only know a little of the bible and yet have faith in Jesus everyday that are down right amazing. Knowing teachings/scriptures is pointless without understanding, faith and a relationship with the Lord.
I respect your opinion, all I ask is you do the same.

Yes, I did read that this drawing is a book cover; but the message of it really stirs me up.
I have no doubt that there are christians out there who are good people and such; but it is a religion of hatred, of blood ritual sacrifice, of rape and murder... According to the bible at least. When someone says he/she's a christian and visits the church and such (and even if they don't visit theΒ church) their beliefs still stand for what the bible dictates; even though they aren't aware of it.
Did you know that the jews have been banished (exiled) from many countries worldwide because they were caught doing blood ritual sacrifices with young Gentile (non-jew) children, where they crucified the children and drank their blood while the children were still conscious...? Do I blame christianity for that? Well, taking into consideration that christianity *is* a jewish religion (I mean it is very evident if one sits down and reads the bible; or even parts of it. People call themselves christians, and they don't even know that they worship a jewish messiah), it is quite easy for one to "connect the dots".
Personally, I am a Spiritual Satanist (you did mention Satanism); and that is one more reason for me to feel insulted.
Satan was never the kind of monster he is depicted in the christian (and related) jewish religions.
Satan used to be the Greek Poseidon, the Summerian Enki, and the list goes...
What Christianity has named "Demons" used to be the Pagan Gods we all worshiped (if you don't believe me on this, check the catholic encyclopedia for the definition of "Demon"; you can even find this on the Internet) and when we were worldwide Pagans, there were no wars, no famine, no poverty, and all the corrupted things that exist today...
Back then, there were no laws to prohibit pedophilia, because the mere concept/idea of pedophilia didn't even exist. People would never act on such atrocious acts. It is only after the jews came to the surface, and christianity started converting people by force (let's remember the catholic Inquisition where millions of Pagans were butchered, tortured, raped, hanged, burnt to death, because they wouldn't accept christianity); it is only after that, that humanity started going downhill (the Middle Ages/Dark Ages is literally a result of christianity).
Nowadays Islam does what christianity did back then.
Moreover, christianity teaches someone to be helpless, to pray and expect for "God" to save them... Christianity teaches blind worship. No matter how many "modern" priests may tell you otherwise, the truth is that "hey, you have free will. But if you do not believe in Jesus you'll go to Hell" - that is blind worship and actual terrorism for one to believe in this faith.
Satanism, on the other hand... Well, first of all, Satanism does NOT support sacrifices (like christianity, according to the religion's 'holy book' and of course its history). In Satanism children and animals are sacred; we do not harm them. In Satanism we have ETHICS, and we do not turn the other cheek if someone is to harm us. That is necessary for human survival... Otherwise, we'd all be slaves. In Satanism we do not "forgive and forget". We understand that people do mistakes, but we learn from those mistakes. But if someone repeatedly treats us badly, then we won't stand it. We will move away from that individual, or if the treatment goes to the level of abuse we can do black magick against them.
Christianity has taught people to be slaves. To never react. Christianity has taught people that their power is very limited and that only "God" knows their destiny and only "God" can help them.
Satanism teaches people that they are strong. Satanism wants people to rebel and be the masters of their own destiny. Astrology, and other ancient spiritual practices can foretell someone's future. The future is not set in stone. It can change at any given time, if one has the knowledge and the power (and intellect) to counterattack a possible scenario.
Back in the old days... in the "Golden Era" (surely you've heard of it) humanity had achieved wonders... Literal wonders... Whether we are talking about structures, about education, about philosophy, mathematics and spiritual wisdom that nowadays people can't understand at all.
Then christianity, islam, jews took it all away... Now the greatest "wonder" you'll see is someone doing the most sick thing that he will call a "piece of art" (check "shocking art" or the ""artist"" Damien Hirst for more on that) or you will see "Virtual reality" being considered a "wonder"... A virtual reality, for people to never realize where they stand and all the lies they have been told. History has been re-written and people still worship a jewish messiah who spread so much pain, torture and genocide to the world...
I don't believe that "Jesus" ever existed. I believe "Jesus" to be a tool for the jews to do all the monstrosities they have (as I said Inquisition, murdering Pagans and so on). In the end the whole "Jesus story" of the Virgin and the list goes, has been repeatedly used in very very ancient Pagan tales (much before christianity came to the surface) and these things have spiritual meaning, than physical/literal.
