I had the privilege of beta testing the new ArtRage 5 and I must say they're making some amazing improvements to an already powerful program. They've added quite a few new features like perspective tools, brushes, layer effects, and cosmetic enhancements. One of my favorites is the custom brush where you can easily design your own brushes to behave and texture however you want.
I wanted to make a point and create a painting entirely in ArtRage 5 to show the power of the program. I've said this before but if you have a traditional background and would like to get into digital painting without a big learning curve, definitely let ArtRage be your first pick.
