Description
My version of Laura Kinney portrayed as being older instead of a teenager. The pose is based on the Death of Wolverine cover. I had creative freedom on pretty much everything except the customer did specifically want a costume without a midriff. Β ΒCreated with Sketchbook Pro

i really like the more adult Laura you've done here. Honestly I'm a huge X-23 fan and I've been waiting for her to be all grown up for years now Β Not that the teenage laura is bad or anything, but I'm not some teenager who wants to read about teenagers. If wolverines going to be dead in the comics, let him and let Laura here grow into an adult and fill his shoes, and don't let it takes 20 years for her to turn 21 eitherΒ Β Β
Anyway really great work! Defiantly one of my favorites Β Β Β

Oh cool! Is she, like, a full adult here? I like her as a teen, but this is an interesting concept too.
Also, the commissioner wanted no midriff showing? You mean someone commissioned for a female character to be more clothed?! I'd never though i'd see this day!
Not that I mind at all! This is much more modest if she's meant to be an adult here. As a teen, her midriff showing in her original costume displays her youthfulness and all that. So I get it.
By the way...did the commissioner say why he wanted her without the midriff? Who was the commissioner anyway?

Thank you, yeah she's all grown up. Β
Yeah no kidding right? It's usually in the other direction with clothing huh?Β
They never said why she wanted it without the midriff. It was a gift for an attorney couple, one is a Supergirl fan and the other x-23. Comic nerd attorneys, I don't think it gets any better than that.
