Aww, yeah, that's sweet! It must be hard work keeping two Aussies, although they are a beautiful and loyal breed like Border Collies

I can't wait for her to get the nutrition she needs so her coat and body weight to increase. She's cute now but I know she will be beautiful.

Oh gosh, shes adorable. I had a tricolor sheltie growing up that we named Sassy, best family dog I ever had. My two are demons.. but then again they're still puppies lol Cute baby, congratulations!

Thank you, I've never been a fan of black tri's but I recently feel in love with them. Shelties are also one of my favorite breeds.

Lol, thats what happened with my husky. I had wanted a red, preferably a more copper color, and ended up with some type of black/wolf grey. Definitely not what I had in mind lol but I love her.

I'm not familiar with Australian shepherds other then what I know from my first one. But he was bought from a breeder. So I'm curious as to how she is a red black tri? Is that possible? Sorry I'm just trying to learn something new.

Oh it just means that as a black tri she has a lot of red undertone. She'll darken up with age most likely but if I didn't know better, I would say she looks like a red tri not a black tri in this photo. Even if she doesn't, a black enhancing color shampoo will help her look darker.

Oh, She's black on her back but lots of red/brown on her head. She wasn't bred with care. And from what I've read she isn't a standard colored aussie. Is she a non-standard aussie? It's okay if she isn't since I won't be breeding her, she's just a companion for my other aussie. Again I'm just curious.
I'm interested in the black enhancing color shampoo though. I'm going to look into.

Again, it just means she has red undertone and that might fade away as she gets older. Aussies are known for darkening as they mature.
A good company that makes a black shampoo is Chris Christensen(chrissystems[dot]com). I recommend if you really want them get clean start, black on black, white on white (optional), thick n thicker (optional, makes them fluffier) and after bathe (cuts down drying time and helps remove dead hair).
