The background in the first panel is pretty imaginative. You did a great job with the perspective, you really get an idea for the scope of the place. Your digital painting technique is unrefined, but you've got a good instinct for it. Developing it would probably be a good focus.

Their fur is purple...? (I hope that's evident in this picture!) They're quadruplets, so they're all only like 5 minutes apart. I think Kate would be the oldest, and Kylie would be the youngest, though.
Yes, their last name is Kitsune. They're the daughters of Kendra and Mizu Kitsune.

Alright, let's get down to this..
The establishing shot in the first panel is excellent. It doesn't flatten out but rounds about. I also noticed that even though you needed a clear space with water nearby, you still did not neglect the true forest nature of well.. Goji Forest. So it does not feel out of place location wise at all. I admit the rocks in the water throw me off to have such neat patterns every so often. But it's probably just a style of how the area is. You might want to have made that last row in the middle curve in sooner. As the distance between a lot of them is much further, even that far away... better yet, just leave the inner rocks alone and move the other rows to have gaps in the given space, that way it doesn't feel like the lake is caving inward.
XD I adore those middle pannels. From the water, to the brushes on Kai, and the ripples. Everything is nice.
It's nice to get a really individualized representation of Kai's sisters here. The hair works out really well in your style now. Of course I also love the Dialect. Always have, always will. You did a good job making the grass feel like it's going back. Granted a few more strokes could be done to the very back, but eh that's just nit picky things. Over all I'm in love with the brush stroke style and the way you've really brought Kai to life. He feels so 3D. Granted his sisters don't feel as life like. Then again this may be intentional as Kai is the most important character.... or a result of him being black and color does so much to him.

Thank you very much! I actually learned about people in Viet Nam and how they farm in foresty/hilly areas by creating stacked water paddies. This is the shallowest water paddy ever, but I tried.
I was really happy with how his sisters came out... I wish I could keep them forever. XD
Kai gets more colors and shininess because he's wet. Once he dries off, he'll probably be have similar contrast to his sisters.

It takes me a couple of tries to get it but I do understand the gist. Also I don't know if you plan to have a whole thing on just the language but from a fan perspective I would be thrilled to learn how to speak their language.

Thank you!~ It's just Goji Forest. It does come up in legends, but it's really only 1 of 3 "countries" and 1 of 7 or so territories that have existed in the FF world. (So most of them are in legends, anyway. XD)
