Description
If you stare at it just right, it kinda' pops out at you in pseudo-3D.This is a pattern based on a sketch did this week. It's one of those physically impossible geometric M. C. Eshcer-esque things.
I wasn't able to recreate my original sketch exactly; due to the fact that the sketch’s strait lines weren’t perfectly strait. This lead to an error in the geometry. So I went with a slightly tweaked version. I think it turned out better this way. Then I just had to align copies of the original into groups of 3, then copy/paste those groups until the screen was full. Warping and light effects were done in Photoshop after exporting the patterns from Flash.

Creepy huh?
I had no Idea it was possible for me to do something like that so easily.
Ironically, the geometric junk took forever, but the 3D illusion only took abot 10 minutes.

Amazing...
I've tried so many time to do something similar like this but at the end I felt lost and I leave it.
Do you mind if one day I post a pencil scrap of that? (not sure but possibly)

As soon as I scan my original sketch I can finish that and post it here.
It won't be a for a while though, I use the scanners as school so it'll be more than a week or so.
