Description UPDATE: With some help and a lot of messing with settings, annoying little lights were minimized.

Learning more about Blender shading and materials. Mild post processing. Rendered with 1250 samples in about an hour without any special modes on. White pixels/fireflies still show a lot. :c

If you turn off caustics until you figure out a lighting set up that allows them, it should fix the white dots

I'm not sure what you specifically mean by 'caustics'. The light causing the biggest problem is coming from a large orb outside of the view. The shadows and reflections from the cylinders rendered well, but not the reflection of the large orb on the top right of the pyramid. Perhaps I'll just have to render at an even higher quality?

This is cycles right?
Cycles has an option to disable lighting caustics which is 90% of the time the reason people have these white dots, it's just too complex for the computer to figure out in any reasonable time because theres some kind of loop it keeps processing in the lighting

That helped. They split caustics removal to two separate options but it's pretty much the same. Thanks dude!
