Description
Here's a remastered version of one of my favourite wallpapers when I just started creating them. "Showdown". It features two Constitution class starships engaged in a battle! Enjoy! Feel free to let me know whether you think it's an improvement when compared to the original version or not!Original Version (June 2010): [link]
Updates:
- I've used another (newer) planet.
- I've created a planetary ring.
- I've increased the intensity of the light on the first Constitution.
- I've inserted a nebula to fill up the large gap in the original version.
- I've changed the explosion and the phaser beam.
- I've removed the "sun" in this version.
Credits:
- Both Constitutions are from TOS Remastered.

We've seen a Klingon Civil War. We know the Rommulans went through something similar. Of the big three in the Alpha Quadrant, it would be something to see the Federation tear itself apart, then rebuild itself stronger than ever.

The nearest we have seen that was "Insurrection" and "Paradise Lost", but I want a good old fashioned ship on ship battles!
