Description
This is a story that goes along with the art, you don't have to read it but okay.
Sierra waits at the table, worried yet disappointed.
The waiter walks up to her and asks "Can I get you anything to drink miss?".
"I'll have a salted caramel hot chocolate...please." Sierra replied, looking up at the waiter.
"I'll get right to it." He smiled and walked away.
He looked familiar...Sierra thought.
Sierra rested her face on her paw, in a fist.
Just that moment, she got a text.
She looked down and scrolled to read it.
It was from her beloved Minty.
As Sierra read the text, she begun to smile and giggle.
She closed her phone at the moment the waiter came back with her hot chocolate.
"Here you go, enjoy Sierra." The waiter winked and smiled.
She looked up, extremely surprised. How did he know her name?
"On the house, its Christmas!" The waiter replied.
Sierra smiled and gave a quiet chuckle. "T-thank you! U-uh Merry Christmas!" She said as he walked away.
Sierra blew on the coffee as the aroma filled her nose and air.
She took a tiny sip, but wasn't supposed too, so she pulled back.
The coffee shop door bell hanger jingled.
Sierra looked up, but no one was there. Probably just the wind...she thought.
"What can I do for ya?" The waiter asked a customer across the coffee shop.
"An Eggnog Latte please." The women replied.
Sierra overheard over all the chit-chat in the shop.
The women walked past Sierra, and stopped a little to look at her.
Sierra tapped her nails on the table. Waiting.
The women continued walking.
But she came back and sat down in front of Sierra at the two person table.
"Hey cutie, what's wrong?" The lady asked.
Sierra looked up scared and puzzled, but the second she saw the lady's face, she smiled and cried little tears of joy.
Sierra got up and reached over the table, hugging the women.
The lady set down her coffee as quickly as possible and hugged Sierra back.
"Merry Christmas" The lady said softly, tears scurrying from her eyes.
"I can't believe its you...I-I-I don't know what to say, I'm so happy." Sierra replied softly.
The lady giggled, they were still hugging. "All I want for Christmas, is you."
"Merry Christmas Minty, I-I love you...so...much." Sierra's voice broke, she was so thrilled.
They unhugged and held hands. They didn't let go.
"Ready?" Minty asked as she raised her cup of coffee.
"Ready when you are." Sierra smirked and raised her cup as well.
They both blew on the cup's lids and took a sip at the same time.
They both sat and talked for hours at the coffee shop. Talking about future Christmases, gifts, what their going to do for this Christmas.
"6 hours? Not bad." Sierra said.
"NJ to AZ is far, but I kept myself content on the plane. I wouldn't stop thinking about you." Minty replied and held Sierra's other hand.
"I never want to leave you." Sierra sighed with joy and smiled.
"Neither I." Minty cheered her cup with Sierra's and they both giggled.
