Margaret sat atop Delta, trotting forward towards the cliffs where the goats were sure to be found. The oddly named Dark Jar Jar walked quickly by her side, his curly head held high in the air. She couldn’t explain it, but... she found something about him Rather off putting. Anakin, seemingly friendly with Dark Jar Jar followed closely behind the other tokota, the two trotting happily. Malia Hale, the precious lil bugger, was pulled out just ahead of Margaret and delta, and Sakae trotted a little ways behind them, only even encouraged to catch up by a whistle from Margaret or a sharp, small bark encouraging her, usually from Anakin, Malia Hale, or Delta. It was a long walk out to those goats, but they would hopefully make it soon enough, Margaret could already feel her stomach rumbling. She’d attempted to eat some jerky she had stored away from her last goat hunt but when she had, the smell had wafted all around, making all five tokotas in her care very restless. Malia Hale had even attempted to steal some of it from her when she wasn’t looking, and Delta keep pausing like she was plotting something. She’d gotten some odd looks from Darth Jar Jar and Anakin, too. In fact, the only one who hadn’t seemed like they wanted to mess with Margaret was Sakae, but Sakae did seem a bit like the more submissive type, so she supposed it made sense. She figured she’d have to wait on the jerky until some goat legs had been distributed amongst the other tokotas to satiate their own hunger, so her’s would have to wait. As the cliffs started to grow in the distance, so did the speed at which they were going. Malia Hale had seemingly decided that, despite being a tiny toki with tiny legs, she was going to set the pace for this journey. But much to everyone’s surprise, her tiny legs could go fast, and she was setting a damn fast pace. Practically blurring, her little legs were nearly invisible, she seemed like she was just hovering off the ground. Delta’s feet pounded, bouncing Margaret up and down as she sped up to keep up with the tiny motor that was Malia Hale. Darth Jar Jar also had to speed up to keep pace, and Anakin quickly followed. They’d only been going so fast for a minute when Margaret turned around to see Sakae far behind that she let out her stopping whistle at a mid tone, with Delta stopping immediately, then Anakin and Jar Jar, and Malia Hale, rambunctious little thing that she is, taking a good few more leaps and bounds before stopping. “We’ve gotta go back for Sakae” Margaret said with a shake of her head. As she began to turn Delta to go, Anakin and Darth Jar Jar simply stood around uninterested, while Malia Hale took off like a shot towards Sakae, who was tiny in the distance. Margaret still directed Delta to turn and meet the excited toki moving at the speed of light and the less interested tokota following her, but Malia Hale seemed to light a fire under Sakae, who moved much faster than she had before, and while she still lagged behind the bullet that was Malia Hale, she caught up with the group much faster than before. “Alright, group, we’re starting to get close, so let’s try to stay together!” Margaret announced as she turned Delta back around and directed her towards Darth Jar Jar and Anakin, who were still standing, seemingly muttering to one an other, though the two stopped once Margaret, Delta, Malia Hale, and Sake got closer. Letting out a whistle that could only mean “Let’s go!” Margaret gave Delta a gentle kick with her heels to get her going, and Malia Hale took off a little slower this time, nudging Sakae’s legs in an attempt to help her keep up. Since Malia Hale was sticking to the back, this put Anakin and Darth Jar Jar in the lead. The two maintained a nice, steady pace up until Darth Jar Jar spotted some goats in the distance and let out a short whine, which quickly got Margaret to direct everyone else to stop with a low, long whistle. After some short deliberation about who would go where, the party headed off to catch some goats. Margaret and Delta charged in head first, with Malia Hale right with them. Sakae used her talent for being quiet to sneak around to the back of the goats to prevent them from escaping, and Anakin and Darth Jar Jar both flanked a side to get in some good attacks and keep them corralled, with Anakin on the left and Darth Jar Jar on the right. As she dashed forward, tiny as could be, Malia Hale wasn’t noticed until she jumped up on a large goat with a howl and proceeded to go at it’s neck. As Delta lept towards a goat’s leg, ripping it clean off, Margaret lept off her back, using her sword to slice the same goat’s neck to give it a quick and easy death. Anakin and Darth Jar Jar got in on the action, too, With Anakin swiping at any goats that got near him, sending the one’s he connected with flying, and Darth Jar Jar acting like he didn’t see any goats trying to bound past him before viciously jumping upon them and tearing them up with his amazingly sharp teeth. As Sakae made tiny snaps and nips at any goat that tried to get past her, Margaret ran up to help her with her sword as she and the five tokotas tried their best to corral the goats into a small circle while also picking them off. Swinging her sword, Margaret attacked goat after goat as Malia Hale made amazing, seemingly impossible jumps at others. Delta pinned down goats by the wind pipe, suffocating them, and Anakin continued his amazing, blunt force trauma inducing swipes. Darth Jar Jar had clearly downed three by the time he was finished as the last goat barreled into Margaret, knocking her onto her butt, and got away. The smell of blood permeated the air, and the ground lay covered in goat bodies and ripped of horns and limbs. Seeing Delta getting to work on the leg she’d claimed as her own, Margaret got to work preparing the spoils of their victory to go home, cutting a single leg off of four others, and tossing it to each tokota in turn. With them all happily chewing on their legs, maybe she could finally get abite of that jerky, she thought to herself, prodding around in her coat, only to find it gone. It was just a fox hide bag she’d made out of a kill, nothing special, but she was really hungry. Not hungry enough to eat raw meat or anything, but hungry. SHe looked around the group for the dark reg bag until she noticed Darth Jar Jar sitting funny. She came up to him, giving the happily chewing tokota the symbol she used for stand, but he simply looked away. After repeating it again to no avail, she finally whistled to get everyone to come over to where Malia Hale was still happily chewing on leg that was comically big in proportion to her body, and only then did Darth Jar Jar guilty get up to reveal the jerky he’d been sitting upon. Or rather, the lack of jerky. The bag was certainly there, but all the traces of the tasty snack inside were long gone. With a pout on her lips, Margaret finished tying up the last of the goats, and started to distribute them amongst the tokotas. Malia Hale got the horns, of course, and Sakae, Anakin, and Delta all got their fair shares. She made direct eye contact with Darth Jar Jar while heaping the extra goat on his back, but she could tell that he only felt bad for being caught, and not for eating ehr only snack. She’d see if he felt any worse after his back ached from this walk home, she thought to herself, as she gathered the troups together with another whistle and headed off back towards the trading post, where she could skin and sell these goats... and hopefully find something to eat, as her grumbling stomach reminded her. She was so hungry...
