This has been a long time coming and I am so proud of how everything turned out!! Yet another collaboration between myself and the always wonderful *Tattered-Dreams . We had so much fun RPing Rue and Skarth together last time that we just couldn't help but create a second chapter to their story! She did such an amazing job drawing up the Fawnlings and coloring them, while I created the background and the flames. PLEASE make sure you read the story for this. Tatty has such a lovely RPing style. I'm not putting a mature content warning on this but, if you guys think it is necessary, let me know!

I seriously hope you guys appreciate this as much as I do.

THE STORY THAT GOES WITH IT:
Battlescars - Skarth and Rue, Part 2SKARTH & RUE
Summer, Year 757 of the New Age

Rue wove her way between the trees at an easy walk. She didn’t feel much like racing on ahead now and the breeze that whistled through the leaves above brought warning of nightfall, but was strong. There would be no getting lost for a while.
The sunlit glade she had left behind had vanished already, swallowed by the woodland, and the sprawling tree roots all around her grew closer together than ever, fighting between themselves to claim enough ground to thrive.
Cully was snoozing on Rue’s withers. Hours ago now, Rue had followed the red roan stag, Skarth, through the trees, as he pointed out all kinds of curious herbs and plants, plucking a few up, seemingly at random, before he led them back to the clearing.
He had started up his bonfire again – Rue taking a few hasty steps back – and the airflow had thickened once more. But she was too fascinated by what Skarth had to teach h
