Description Another paint on canvas piece.

A long time ago, in a galaxy far far away, I saw a MACROSS poster that look kind of like this.

I remember the image was almost entirely green....I know that sounds kind of weird, this isn't a forrest scene after all, but trust me it looked Grrrrrreat!

The original poster had the planet earth in the background, but I chose to replace it with Saturn because in the TV series and in the movie, there was a battle at Saturn.

Interesting, they usually had Daedalus and Prometheus swung back facing astern.

True.

The original poster that I was trying to copy (from memory) had the the 2 carriers in this position too.
I've often wondered about this myself, but my guess is that aesthetically, it just looked better than the "elbow" joints.

This might be an 'attack' position, given they are on 'arm-like' ports it seems possible. Maybe to bring both Daedalus's and Prometheus's weapons to bear(torpedoes?), though I have read that they were stripped of engines and weapons after docking with the SDF-1(like propellers do anything in space).
