You could call this a 'warm-up' for my Crash work this year. Another full A4 Crash drawing like ones I've done before. My energy is building a lot XD Taking a break from Crash has really let me recover my enthusiasm for it. I'm not sure exactly what I'll get up to but you can look forward to some Crash-related thing from me soon in any case :3 I'm so pumped for Crash work omgThis pic started as a bunch of random sketches, I was literally just starting to doodle the characters when I said 'hey, why not colour these?' and it escalated from there lmao. That explains why there's two Brio's- it really was just a bunch of sketches I did on a whim that I decided to colour. This drawing wasn't planned, it was totally spontaneous. Different technique this time- I used a HB pencil for all the sketching, selectively rubbed out lots of rough lines, then just put the marker colours straight on top, followed by fineliners and a white gel pen. I'm pleased with the result, and I don't know about anyone else but I like being able to still see visible sketch lines :I

I never actually played any Crash game myself (for a time that counts anyway) but I think the cartoony character designs in the original PS1 games are really cool!
Especially the villains like Cortex, N. Gin and... eh... clock-guy |D
