Cool shot. It does look a little out of focus though.

Yea I think its because its a bad scan. I need to scan the original print, which I handprinted to 10x8 inches and is in a frame. It needs reframing anyway.

Hmm... maybe that's why my boyfriend likes it! The real reason I have the name is much more earth bound:
The name was given to me because I used to talk in chat rooms online, way back when. I'd hold 6 different conversations at once because I read fast, and I can type faster. My friend said, "You are such a social butterfly." I responded with, "It's cool! I'm talking to people all over the world! Right now I am chatting with a girl from Brazil, one from New York, a guy from Hawaii, and two guys from Europe!"
She laughed and said, "Then you are a planetary butterfly!" So it became my new screen name. But, I still go by Lapislazuli in places where PlanetaryButterfly has too many letters.

cool stuff. I could never get away with chat rooms, to much going on at once!

I've heard a lot of people say that. I used to love it, I felt like it was keeping my brain active.

Really nice picture but i think it lacks sharpness. Taken with a bridge or compact ?

Thanks. It was taken on a 35 film SLR actualy and printed by hand at college. This was entered in a calendar competition and got used for January
