I've wanted to draw something like this for ages and it took me several nights to finish it ^^"But I just dunno what to do with the background -.- I kinda like they grey foggy impression it gives, but it looks so empty. So I just randomly put those three faces and the text there as a placeholder. Please, if anyone has any ideas or advice SHARE THEM WITH ME!!! ^^"
Feedback is greatly appreciated.
Oh, and another question: Anyone care to explain where the name "Akeifa" comes from? I've seen Tรดzokuo being referred to by this name on the internet, but I can't recall it ever being mentioned in the anime or manga ._. Same goes for Ankhiti.

Akeifa, from what I've heard, has mysterious origins but ultimately is just fanon--somebody randomly decided to call him that; someone else liked the name and used it too (or maybe thought it was actually the canon name); and it snowballed from there.

I like when we get to see the three reincarnations together. I wonder what the real Ryou Bakura would have done if he had been allowed to enter the memory arc and faced off against his former self with his friends.
My bet is in sh*t twinkies. Hmm, large imposing figure that just picked up Tristan, after he punched the thief king square in the face, and just tossed him like he was nothing.
Ryou might say something like ,"Blimey! You're turn next Tea," and backed up. LOLz

As for the names... Akeifa has already been explained, not a clue where Ankhiti comes from (never heard of it really o.o), but I think Touzokuou is japanese for Thief King

Heheh, thanks. I liked how they always had diferent kinds of games in the first series and how it wasn't all about the silly cards.
Yupp, tozokuou mean thief king (thus it's not really a name, but I tend to call him that anyway ^^"), and Ankhiti I've seen in various fanfictions. Also I've seen people call him Akeifa at one point and Ankhiti in the next paragraph -.-"

I think the background looks good, but if you want to make it less gray as a whole, maybe do a fade from a darker color into a lighter one.Maybe a very dark purple on the bottom fading into pale yellow as it goes towards the top. Other than that I have no other suggestion. I think it came out very well.

Sorry, but I can't really help you with any of your problems... I haven't even HEARD of a "Tรดzokuo" before.
BuuuUUUUut i can tell you, that this looks great. A background would be nice, but the faces actually do work. So, in case you do find something, to put as a background (Like... some large bed to enhance for the kinkyness, or... I dunno) you should leave the faces where they are.
So for extra-candy: Time for a new Walk on Trope-Alley! Muahahaha!

Absolutely. I finally learned what "Rosebud is his sled" means. I knew it's a common "spoiler" and that it's from Citizen Kane, but never having watched the movie I never really got what the heck was the big deal about it.
I feel so much better now.
Tv Tropes teaches people all the things they want to know even though they've never been aware of the fact that they want to and actually don't really need to know. But it makes me feel so much smarter.

Akeifa comes from someone mishearing him when he intorduced himself to someone on the english anime
What he said was "I'm a theif, a stealer of souls"
and they thought he said "I'm akeifa, stealer of souls"

Ankhiti? Of course this is my opinion and doesn't have much base in Yu-Gi-Oh background, but to me that name sounds like a ramdon Egyptianish name made up by altering the name of the life-symbol - Ankh - with oriental-sounding ending. Akeifa, on the other hand sounds, a bit Arabic to me, but I myself have no idea what the meaning would be

Since Akeifa has now been revealed to be a misinterpretation by fans, only Ankhiti is left to be solved ._. I like your theory, though, it makes sense to me.
