I dig this pairing too, but only with Nu!Spock's approval or involvement. Because if he's alone and pining for Kirk's love I feel sad and empty inside. But otherwise ASFNHJSKBGAB THIS PAIRING, MY FEELS.

Because the unusual pair breaks two couples, from my point of view, Spock prime with his Kirk and nu!Kirk with his bitchy Spock who will hopefully stop making out with Uhura in front of the camera.

I'm curious to why people condemn this pairing as a 'guilty pleasure'.

I didn't mean it as a negative thing or anything like that, certainly not to 'condemn' it- but I guess I'd call it a guilty pleasure because of the extreme age difference (which I happen to love, but know is not very popular with most people) and because it interferes with the AU timeline with NuKirk and NuSpock. Also this is the only pairing from the new Star Trek film/universe that I like- aside from that I am pretty strictly into original Kirk/Spock.
