A full year has passed, and Tessa has settled well into her life, and her new body. It isn't easy, but even with how much she's lost, she's just grateful to still have her head. She considers her paralysis to be the worst, and also the best, thing that ever happened to her. It took so much from her that she can never get back. But in turn, she gained a stronger appreciation for her life, for the things that she can do, and for herself.
